The Heart of the City Partnership brings together businesses who believe a thriving city needs strong, visible cultural institutions, and who choose to stand publicly behind one of Peterborough’s greatest assets.

Overview

For centuries, Peterborough Cathedral has been at the heart of city life, a place of worship, welcome, culture and civic pride. Open daily and with entry by donation, it serves everyone, of all faiths and none.

Members will join a trusted network of businesses that recognise the social, cultural and economic value of a strong and thriving Cathedral. Partners will help secure its future while aligning their brand with heritage, community and visionary leadership.

The Cathedral currently faces a £1,400 daily operating deficit. National and regional business support is essential to keeping it open, welcoming and serving the city.

Our goal is 100 partners contributing £100,000 annually and acting as informed, influential advocates across Peterborough.

This is not sponsorship, it’s a shared commitment: businesses backing the Cathedral, and the Cathedral strengthening the city we call home.
