Learning
Set within the remarkable surroundings of Peterborough Cathedral, our school visits offer high-quality, interactive experiences that enrich and extend classroom learning. Drawing on the Cathedral’s rich history as a living place of Christian worship and faith, our programmes combine engaging storytelling with hands-on activities to spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and bring curriculum topic to life. Each visit is designed to create a meaningful and memorable journey of discovery for every student.
Each year, we welcome around 7,000 children and young people to take part in engaging programmes that support the National Curriculum and locally agreed Religious Education (RE) syllabuses. If you are looking for something different, we’re always happy to create a bespoke visit tailored to your needs.
As a living Cathedral, our calendar includes regular services and events, so early booking is recommended.
We warmly welcome students of all abilities and are committed to providing an inclusive, adaptable experience for every group.
All our activities are designed to meet educational objectives while remaining flexible, so sessions can be tailored to your learning goals.
