Behind the scenes, the Cathedral is a hive of activity, with over 50 dedicated staff members working to ensure everything runs smoothly—from organising services and events to maintaining the stunning building itself. But it’s our 300+ volunteers who really bring the Cathedral to life. These incredible people give their time and talents to support everything from guiding visitors to helping with services and events. Their commitment is what makes Peterborough Cathedral such a dynamic and lively place.
