& Funerals
Weddings:
- Eligibility: Only specific groups can marry in the Cathedral, including those on the Cathedral Roll, clergy, residents of the Cathedral Precincts, certain staff, former choristers, and students/staff of The King’s School. Exceptions may be considered individually.
- Special Licence: Most couples need an Archbishop’s Special Licence to marry at the Cathedral, with guidance available from the Dean’s PA.
- Costs: Fees vary based on the scale of the ceremony and services, such as the use of different spaces, organists, or choir.
- Receptions: The Cathedral offers historic locations for wedding receptions. Please contact info@peterborough-cathedral.org.uk in the first instance.


Baptisms
- Timing: Typically held on Sunday afternoons.
- Eligibility: Open to people of all ages. It requires a commitment to attend services beforehand.
- Cost: Free, with donations appreciated.

Funerals
- The Cathedral conducts funerals for congregation members, those with a connection to the Cathedral, or services requiring a larger venue.
- Fees: Available for download on the Cathedral’s website.
