Your Cathedral
This is your Cathedral, and we warmly welcome you to join us—whether for worship, reflection, or simply to explore Christianity and faith more deeply. Our doors are open to everyone, regardless of background or belief. We invite you to be part of this inclusive, diverse community, where all are embraced with kindness and respect.
The heart of our worship is the Sunday Eucharist service, held at 10:30am, and we would love for you to join us. Whether you are a lifelong Christian, new to faith, or just curious, you’ll find a space here where you can belong. Our service is designed to be accessible to all, with a welcoming atmosphere and clear guidance throughout, so you can participate at your own pace.
This is a place for everyone—a sanctuary for reflection, community, and spiritual growth, where you are always invited to feel at home.
Peterborough Cathedral is part of the Church of England and the worldwide Anglican Communion. We have regular congregations not only for the Sunday Eucharist service when children’s groups are also available, but also for services at other times.

The main daily service attended by visitors is Choral Evensong. At special times such as Christmas Eve or Remembrance Sunday, we often welcome congregations of 1000 or more people. For a full list of acts of worship, see our Services page.

The Community Forum
The Community Forum, which meets four times a year, is a group of representatives from the Cathedral congregation. It provides the opportunity for discussion and feedback between the Chapter and people in the wider Cathedral community about the current and future operation of the Cathedral.
