This week's notices

Evening Prayer will be said until Friday this week, as the Choir is on half-term holiday.

On Saturday 1st November, All Saints' Day, the Cathedral will be closed to visitors from 12.00-2.00pm, as a wedding will be taking place.

Our visiting choir for Evensong on Saturday will be The Crofton Singers. A warm welcome and our thanks to them.

Matins will be said at 9.15am on Sunday 2nd November, All Souls's Day, with a special Cathedral Eucharist to follow at 10.30am in Celebration of the Communion of Saints and the Fellowship of the Faithful departed.

Coffee & Cookies is temporarily closed due to staff shortages. 
We hope to re-open again soon. We can still take group bookings for refreshments. Call 01733 355315.


New Tour Guides' course starts Wednesday 5th November

Cathedral appoints new Architect

The Chapter of Peterborough Cathedral has appointed Mr Stephen Oliver as Cathedral Architect. He will succeed Canon Julian Limentani who retires at the end of 2014 after 25 years in the role.

Chorister Voice Trials

Chorister Voice Trials will take place on:

  • Monday 10th November (boys): apply by Monday 3rd November;
  • Monday 17 November (girls): apply by Monday 10th November.

Children who are currently in School Year 2 are welcome to apply.

Peterborough Cathedral Calendar 2015

With the help of Peterborough 900 Campaign Corporate Partners PPS Print, the Cathedral has published a 2015 calendar with twelve stunning photos of the Cathedral building. The calendar can be customised with logos, contact details and events. The proceeds from sales go towards the Peterborough 900 Campaign. 

The standard calendar, without customisation, can be bought in the Cathedral Shop for £7.99 (or 5 for £30.00) or online at the PPS website.
