Discover more about the archaeological dig in the Cathedral Precincts in June 2016 - what was found and what do these things tell us about how people lived here in centuries past?
Come and discover more about the remarkable pieces found during the archaeological dig led by Access Cambridge Archaeology in the Cathedral Precincts in June 2016. They range from Roman pottery to medieval painted glass and early 20th century domestic ware.
The exhibition provides a fascinating insight into how archaeology is conducted as well as the results of further research into the objects found - it's a must for anyone who took part or who visited the site during last year’s Heritage Festival.
The Cathedral Visitor Centre is open 10.00am - 4.00pm Mon - Sat, 11.00am - 4.00pm Sun.
Closing time 5.00pm, from Easter onwards.
