What really led to the executions of Anne Boleyn and Mary, Queen of Scots?

Two Queens connected by Elizabeth I, lost their lives for they had both been a threat to the Tudor crown. Join historians Dr Owen Emmerson and Jackson van Uden as they look at the events that led to the two fateful days, just over 50 years apart, at the Tower of London and Fotheringhay Castle. The two will explore the Machiavellian actions that went on in the background to secure their deaths, they will detail the manipulation that the two Queens were subject to in advisors’ ‘investigations’, and they will give us an insight into the emotions behind the Tudor rulers’ decisions.
