Peterborough Cathedral’s popular Christmas Craft and Gift Market has added new stalls this year and offers a wonderful array of unique gifts and handmade crafts.
Set in the beautiful Cathedral Nave and Transepts, this is an inspiring place in which to start your Christmas shopping.
The Market takes place on the evening of Friday 15th November, to coincide with the city’s Christmas Lights switch-on, and all day on Saturday 16th November.
Amongst the fare on sale will be vegan soaps, hand-painted silk scarves, leather-goods, ceramics, artworks, bamboo socks, jewellery and much more. Refreshments will also be on sale.
A donation of £2 per adult is invited on entry and the proceeds will go towards the running of Peterborough Cathedral.
The Craft and Gift Market’s opening times are 6.30pm to 9.00pm on Friday 15th November, and 9.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday 16th November.
On the green outside the Cathedral there will also be traditional chalet-style stalls selling food, drinks and festive goods as part of the city’s expanded Christmas Market.
