The Cathedral’s popular Christmas Craft and Gift Market is taking place on Friday 19th November and Saturday 20th November this year.
Set inside the beautiful Cathedral building, it is an inspiring space in which to start your Christmas shopping and offers a wonderful selection of gifts and crafts.
The Market is open on Friday 19th from 10.00am until 5.00pm and then from 6.30pm until 9.00pm. On Saturday 20th it is open from 10.00am until 5.00pm.
Amongst the unique range of items on sale will be hand crafted jewellery, glassware, wooden items, painted silk scarves, vegan soaps, bamboo socks, candles, soft toys, Christmas cards and homewares; not to mention honey, gin and fudge!
The market stalls will be spread over a wide area within the Cathedral to allow plenty of room to shop without jostling with a crowd. There will also be a one-way system in place and entry times will be staggered to avoid over-crowding at busy times. The Cathedral has good level access, so is ideal for anyone shopping with a pushchair or a wheelchair.
Shoppers are asked to book a timed entry ticket in advance to minimise queueing. Customers can then spend as long as they like at the market with no fixed time to finish their shopping, except at closing time.
Tickets are £2 per person, with under 16s free of charge (booking still required). They can be booked via www.ticketsource.co.uk/peterborough-cathedral. Any remaining tickets will be sold on the door.
