Under the Sea Yoga - Thursday 25th July, Thursday 1st August, Thursday 8th August, Thursday 15th August 2024, 7.30pm - 8.30pm in the Cathedral.
Find your zen amongst our Monsters of the Sea exhibition with calming yoga sessions. Enjoy the serene atmosphere as you stretch and relax. £10 ppp session.

Online Talk: ‘Sea Monsters on Medieval Maps’ - Thursday 1st August, 7.30pm
Join Chet Van Duzer, author of Sea Monsters on Medieval and Renaissance Maps, for an intriguing online talk exploring the fascinating world of sea monsters in history.

'IMMERSED' by The Gathering Sound - Saturday 3rd August, 7pm
Experience a unique sound bath with world-renowned musicians and immerse yourself in a sea of healing vibrations and underwater sounds. Composed by Richard Leigh featuring world renowned violinist, David Le Page, vocalist Rachel Parkes and the ancient sounds of Earthdance.

Online Talk: 'Monsters of the Sea: Life in a Changing Ocean’ - 15th August, 7.30pm
Learn about the dynamic life of sea monsters with Professor Meric Srokosz from the National Oceanography Centre.

80's & 90's Old Skool Disco - Saturday 17th August, 7pm
Relive the glory days at our 80's and 90's Old Skool Disco. Dust off those dancing shoes and groove to the nostalgic beats of the past.

Family Afternoons at ARU Peterborough
Every Wednesday afternoon during the exhibition, dive into the virtual world of Monsters of the Sea with a range of interactive activities for young people aged 8 and up.
Activities include:
- Dive into Discovery: Explore a 3D model of a blue whale skeleton.
- Recreating a Monster of the Sea: Design and animate your own sea monster.
- Saltwater Experiment: Discover the unique properties of seawater.
