Breaking News: Tickets for the spectacular new summer exhibition Unofficial Galaxies go on sale on May 4th.
On Thursday May 4th, Peterborough Cathedral will release tickets for their out of this world summer exhibition, Unofficial Galaxies. The exhibition is one of the largest Star Wars fan private collections in the world, and will be on show at Peterborough Cathedral from 19th July to 29th August 2023.
The collection which is rarely seen in the UK, includes over 120 items. Amongst the exciting exhibits are a full-size Landspeeder purchased from London’s Elstree Studios and the desk and chair of young Anakin Skywalker from the 1999 film The Phantom Menace. Star Wars toys dating from 1977 to 1999 and original production items such a storyboards and drawings will also be on view, as well as costumes for characters such as Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and many more.
Visiting in costume will be positively encouraged!
Tickets to see Unofficial Galaxies are £6 per child (aged 3-16 years), £10 per adult and £30 for a family ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children, or 1 adult and up to 4 children). A booking fee applies. The tickets are available via the Cathedral’s website www.peterborough-cathedral.org.uk/galaxies.
