We are delighted to extend an invitation to our fundraising Summer Nave Dinner, with special guest speaker Paul Martin, antiques expert and TV presenter.
With fizz and canapés in the Cloisters, followed by a sumptuous three course dinner and words of wisdom from TV’s antiques expert Paul Martin, this is a fundraiser you won’t want to miss!
There’ll also be dancing under the magnificent central tower. All this, and you'll be helping to sustain our beautiful Cathedral too.
Paul Martin is best known as the presenter of Flog It! and Antiques Road Trip on BBC TV and he has just completed filming a major new series for Channel 5, The Great Auction Showdown. He will be talking about his life, passion, career and his involvement in heritage and safeguarding the future of craft skills of Britain. Paul is a former Patron of Heritage Crafts and believes that we should embrace heritage craft skills. He says:

"I want people to be aware of their heritage, their surroundings, the treasures that are on their doorstep that they shouldn't neglect, such as buildings, monuments, structures - whether they are domestic or industrial or on the at-risk register ".
