Just yards from the display of the Spacecraft that took Tim Peake and his fellow astronauts to the International Space Station and back, historian Dr Janina Ramirez will shed a medieval light on humankind’s place in the universe.

Tim Peake was the guest of honour at a special launch night for the installation of Tim Peake’s Spacecraft, presented by Samsung and the Science Museum Group, at Peterborough Cathedral on Friday evening (10th August).

Volunteers are required to help look after visitors when Tim Peake’s Spacecraft (presented by Samsung and the Science Museum Group) arrives at Peterborough Cathedral from 11th August until 5th November?

The spacecraft which transported Tim Peake, the UK’s first European Space Agency astronaut, to and from the International Space Station, will land at Peterborough Cathedral on Saturday 11th August and remain on show until Monday 5th November 2018.

The Visitor and Learning Centre will be closed for the weekend from 1:30pm on Saturday afternoon (28th July).
